It was recommended during a consult with a new eye doctor. It is excellent, much better than attempting to use baby shampoo, which breaks up the tear film and is irritating. This is so gentle, does a great job of eliminating the daily buildup on my lashes from blepharitis and even removes my eye makeup well. No burning, rinses clean. I think I could wash my face with it! I still have the bottle after almost six months and I use it daily. It's a lot easier for me because I just put the bottle right in the shower and scrub my lids each morning.
