I love this face wash! Here are the pros:

-Gentle and soothing (has aloe in it)
-Very few ingredients (my dermatologist recommends buying products with the smallest number of ingredients)
-Soft and creamy
-Nice smell
-Helps your skin quickly (I always see a reduction in redness and swelling the next morning when I wash my face with it before bed)
-No residue

This is a great alternative to Benzoyl Peroxide cream as it doesn't leave an oily sheen on your face. As with all Benzoyl Peroxide products, be sure to watch out for its tendency to bleach fabrics. I use a white wash cloth, towel, and pillowcase with it.

I have used Benzoyl Peroxide 10% for years prescribed. My health care no longer covers the prescription because this is now available over the counter. They used to give me huge bottles like this for $10 with prescription. The bottles in the supermarket by name brands are so expensive for very little quantity. I found this product to be a good deal and it works the same.

For those who are looking for an alternative to the Benzac-AC wash. Topix is great! Works fantastically for those who tried PanOxyl or black soap, Topix results are amazing. The aloe ingredient is nice for clearing up dark spots.

When I used this product, along with the toner, I thought it was alright. But when I ran out and started using another obagi line I realized how awesome this really is! I immediately started to get pimples. I have mild acne, but every once in a while I get theese huge ones and I always have blackheads, and while I was on the two products I did not get any at all. Highly rec this product. I cant wait to go back on it. Be careful with the benzoil peroxide lotion, it is also super good, but they can feel harsh if used all together, especially if your acne is not severe. The therapeutic moisturizer is also great, its light and feels cool on your face, and best of all NO breakouts, I mean one pimple is too many in my opinion, so give this a try if you are suffering!

Switching to this product had to be gradual. When I first tried using it 2X a day it felt like it was burning my face and had an awful chemical smell. I almost stopped using it since I do not like strong, toxic smelling substances. I persisted.

Before I was using Clinique, which did not help much come the time of the month--but I did like the moisturizer. I decided to switch to Clenziderm (cleanser, toner, serum). Like I mentioned, using it 2X a day literally hurt, and like most changes I decided to ease into a routine. So I did the three steps at night and used Cetaphil during the day. I added the Clinique lotion to the end of my routine at night and a SPF moisturizer during the day.

After a few weeks I noticed that my face had less acne and blemishes--As the burning feeling ceased, I upped to 2X a day and stopped using the toner since it seemed to make my face more oily. After a month my face only gets a pimple here or there during that time of the month. I... Read more

I went into a "health" store looking for some pure aloe vera gel for my blond haired, blue eyed, milk white Irish daughter who had gotten sunburned. She was literally lobster red. And I mean worrisome red! The store was out of the aloe vera gel, but the sales clerk said to try this product. A person who had gotten burned by fireworks used it and told her it worked great.
She went to get me a bottle, but alas, the expiration was December 2010. She gave it to me free and told me to give it a try anyway. Well, let me tell you...I slopped that orange colored oil all over my daughter and I let her apply it to her face. She never complained about it being 'hot' like you'd think applying a film of oil over the skin would make it. She remained comfortable. I don't usually write reviews, but thought this one deserved an A+ rating. I've had Blepharitis for years now & nothing seemed to help. I've tried washing with baby shampoo, used the eyelid scrubs, warm compress, antibiotics, eye drops... nothing worked. I would wake up each morning with sore red eyes, which were often flaky and swollen! Yuck! I thought my days of wearing makeup were coming to an end! Then I saw the Dr. Oz episode on Sea Buckthorn and starting researching it for different reasons. I found out that a lot of people use it for Rosacea, so I decided to give it a try on my eyelids. Now I wash my face each night with a hot damp washcloth & apply the oil lightly to my entire face and eyelids. Since I don't wear waterproof makeup, I don't use soap ~ just a hot damp washcloth & sea buckthorn. I noticed a difference within days.
